Everyone I met was nice. However after deciding which model of car I wanted I was charged $2,000 over MSRP. I was given $1,000 less on my trade in than another dealership offered. I only went with their financing because of the down payment matching up to $2,000 even though the APR of the loan is 3% higher than what my bank offered. And last of all… More the car is coming with accessories I do not want or need. When I asked if I could give them the accessories (cargo net and carpeted floor mats) for a credit they said no.
Jack was super informative and helpful, he made the buying process fun and easy and as quick as possible! I highly recommend doing business with him. Thank you, Jack!!

Buying a used truck from Oaks Auto Group was a total pleasure from start to finish, they have excellent reviews and I can see why!
I was searching the country for a specific older truck with low miles and I found several that fit my criteria in several states. I narrowed my choices down to two; one of which was at Oaks Auto Group in Kansas City, KS. About 4:30pm I submitted the online form to inquire about the truck and I got a call back in about 30 minutes. We discussed the vehicle and I explained that I would need the truck shipped to me (a service he said they do regularly) and since I was too far away to come see the vehicle myself, I would want to have an independent inspection done (which I would pay for), prior to a sales agreement. I told him I would be paying cash and the funds would be available in a week, we discussed a preliminary deal and a deposit to hold the truck. Assuming the inspections I wanted done passed with my satisfaction, I offered to pay their asking price of $12,000 out-the-door, with two conditions; all fees (appx $200) and shipping (appx $350) would need to be included. Sales tax was not a factor here because I was buying from out of state and I would be paying my sales tax to my state, myself, separately. The guy said they encourage folks to get an independent inspection done before buying, but he needed to pass this info to a sales manager and someone would call me back.
A manager named Chip called me back early the next day and we reviewed the details from yesterday’s offer. Chip was happy to help me get the truck inspected by a local shop and they would even take it there for me; just let him know which one. Shipping the truck to me was no problem at all, they do it all the time. Chip countered offered with same deal at $12,500 out-the-door and delivered. Since I felt the truck was already fairly priced for its age/condition/miles, I accepted the deal.
I gave him the local shop information and they drove it over there for me the next day. I was very happy to hear that the truck was in great shape as advertised, it passed the Block test and Compression test, and only needed a few minor maintenance items, which I expected for a 21yr old truck. Chip emailed me the needed paperwork for me to review, sign and return.
Two days later, my funds came through, and I sent them a wire transfer to buy the truck. Chip said as soon as the funds were confirmed, if I wanted the truck faster, he could personally drive the truck to me from Kansas City (a 350 mile round trip) and bring along the rest of the paperwork to sign! Wow, now that’s SERVICE. Plus, sure, a nice long road trip tells me they have real confidence in the condition of the truck. Sounds great! At 4pm that evening, Chip pulled up to my office driving my new truck. A quick look around the truck and this was exactly what I wanted and the truck was CHERRY! 15 minutes of paperwork and we were all done.
Chip was very professional throughout the entire process, answered all my questions, called back when he said he would, accommodated my needs, followed through with commitments; everything you hope for in a car buying experience. Both he and his service manager Justin checked in with me the following week to make sure I was happy. I’ve purchased a lot of cars, and even purchased my home over the internet; am VERY happy with my experience at Oaks Auto Group and I have already recommended them to a few friends/family.
I’m not a google reviewer person; if you check my profile, I think this might be only my 3rd or 4th ever; I felt it necessary to share what a pleasure it was to work with Chip, Justin and all the folks at Oaks Auto Group.
William Mason was very friendly and helpful when we came in to look at vehicles. He was not pushy at all. The Oakes Mitsubishi dealership has a very relaxing atmosphere, not unlike most car dealerships I have been to.
My wife and I came through the area and decided to stop in and look at some new cars as her and I’s hasn’t been looking to good. I met with a Gentleman named William who was nothing but delightful to talk to and get to understanding what’s offered here. We weren’t in the position to buy a car but had we been we surely would have right then and there!! My wife and I will surely be back, don’t worry!

William Mason was our Salesman. He did a great job with all our questions and is still going out of his way after the sale as I left something in our trade-in car.
Luis was the best car salesman I’ve met. We had a little hiccup during the whole deal but Luis was very helpful. If he hadn’t told me he was in the industry for a couple months I would have believed he was there for the past 20 years. It was one of the easiest car-buying experiences I have had. Steve was very helpful; we found a car in my price range with great features and the financing was also within my desired range. My husband and I were having a stressful day and these folks all made sure that unexpectedly buying a car was not a part of the stress. I highly recommend checking them out.
I worked with five different dealers and walking into a Oakes Kia was a breath of fresh air. Derrick Dow was wonderful to work with. He wasn’t pushy and actually made it a nice experience for me. Considering a couple of the dealers I’ve been working with it was really nice, it was a very good experience. I think it took me about an hour and we were done. I will definitely be back next time I buy a car.

I have had issues with the driver’s door sensor going off… today was the third time taking it back and Justin fixed the alignment of the sensor….He indicated he was new …. Keep him because he is customer focused.

I had a 9:00am appt to meet Chad to test drive a used 2021fully loaded Kia Seltos , loved the car but not the price , so I passed on it , however I did purchase a 2023 Seltos with a few less amenities, the only down side is it will not be delivered until 08/07/22 but the wait will be worth it
